US Escapade 2006

Edited:

First Stop: Delaware
Delaware is.. the first state. haha.. there was nothing much to see here.. but there's this place in Dover that based on their studies is the center of the universe.. isn't that cool?. It used to be a house but they've already turned it into a museum.. but we weren't able to go inside.. we just passed by it.. One thing I loved about Delaware is the shopping because they don't have sales tax.. I think it's the only state without sales-tax.. I shopped at the dover mall (Victoria's Secret, Old Navy, Billabong, Charlottle Russe) and in the Rehoboth Outlets(Ann Taylor, Coach). I was loaded because my aunt and her friends and my other aunts kept giving us money. I think I was able to get like $400.. haha! How lucky was I? But of course the money's gone now.. haha.. and I'm back to being broke! :(
Second Stop: Maryland
Maryland=Naval Academy=LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF CUTE GUYS.. =)
I didn't wanna leave the academy because of them.. hehehe!
I shopped here too!!! :)
Third Stop: Florida
Damn.. i loved florida.. except for the super duper hot temperature.. Disneyworld, Epcot Center, Go-karts, THE COCOA BEACH, Indian River, Kennedy Space Center.. We all went to all those places.. i had a lot of fun here.. We were here for 6 days.. The beach house where we stayed in was really nice and BIG!.. it was just beside the Indian River.. so we went fishing and swimming there.. We also went to Cocoa beach.. I really liked it.. though there weren't a lot of people.. I wore a bikini for the very first time. haha! BTW, the road travel to Florida from Annapolis,MD was about 16 hours.. ang haabbbaaa..
Fourth Stop: New York
Walang sinabi ang buildings sa Ayala.. :p hehe
I shopped at Fifth Avenue, Barney's, Macy's... just kidding.. :p
New York was so cool.. :) I had so much fun here. We went to NY City and took a city tour bus that roamed around New York City- Central Park, 5th Avenue, Chinatown.. etc.. It was very cold that day so I wasn't really able to enjoy the city tour.. My cousin Ark took me to the board walk in Staten Island where a scene from "How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days" was shot.. and he also took me to the staten island mall..but I didn't shop 'cause I didn't him to wait..'cause it takes me a decade to decide on what to buy..
Fifth Stop: Washington
Boring. Boring. Boring.
Sixth Stop: Virginia
Boring. Boring. Boring.
Seventh Stop: New Jersey
Don't wanna talk about it.. I liked marriot hotel's indoor pool and whirpool spa, my Ann Taylor dress and my Gold peeped-toe pumps. :)

Can't think of a title..

I have to go to my aunt's office this afternoon to help her with her work. It's open registration today that's why they've got a lot of work to do. I'll just be filing and alphabetizing documents anyway so it's not gonna be really hard. I 've already done a lot of filings/work there. The last time I helped, which was last Tuesday, I worked for about 3 hours.. hmm.. maybe I should ask for a pay.. hehe.. $8/hr.. hmm... But my aunt pays for my shopping so.. hindi na lang... haha..
I wanna have a job if I'm gonna study here.. maybe I'll work as a cashier in McDonald's or a waitress in a Chinese restaurant (para may TIP).. hehe.. :))
I wanna go back to the outlets 'cause I've still got money to burn.. haha.. and I wanna buy a new dress for the practice dinner.. tsss.. I didn't know that we still have to attend that dinner that's why I only bought one dress..

Coolness..

Today was my college placement test and I was so nervous because I didn't study. I was just watching TV and reading my magazines yesterday. My tita told me to study, even my kid brother kept telling me to study, but I didn't.

Fortunately, the test wasn't hard. I found it really easy actually.. except for the reading comprehension.. that was really confusing.. I already saw my scores as soon as I finished the exam but I didn't know what the passing scores were.. so I still had to wait for the proctor to approach me. I got 89 in reading comprehension, 101 in sentence skills, 103 in Arithmetic and 84 in Algebra. When the proctor came to me, I immediately asked if I failed ('cause I thought I did) and she said that I didn't and I did great and that my scores were really high. She also said that I can take college level subjects already. Yey!

I will take Applied Clinical Math and Critical Reading and Thinking subject (I just needed four more points to be excempted from taking CRT.. sayang..) and some science subjects this fall. yehey! :))

Confused

I am so confused right now. I don't know where to study- here in Delaware or in the Philippines..

When we had a family reunion last Christmas in California my aunt offered me to study here in the States. She said she was gonna sponsor my schooling and all so my parents allowed me. But when we saw how expensive the international student tuition fee was, I just decided to study in the Philippines. So I am currently enrolled at Assumption College (Accounting). I've already paid my tuition fee for the semester and I've already bought 4 pairs of uniform ('cause I don't have classes every Wednesday). But now my aunt wants me to study here again, because the college's director is willing to give me a scholarship to study (Nursing) here. We just have to pay my first year's tuition and if I'm doing good in school, my scholarship will be granted. I am now scheduled to take the placement test on Tuesday. I called my mom 2 days ago and told her about it. She wasn't exactly happy/excited about it. She said she'll gonna miss me if I study here. She even said I have to come home (in the PI) every summer, christmas and semestral break. haha! That's crazy.. :Þ She also asked me about my 18th birthday.. she was like "Pano yung debut mo? Uuwi ka dito?!" hehe.. I know my mom's really excited for my debut..
If you ask me, it's really better to study nursing here than in the PI because you could be a registered nurse in just 3 years(if you don't fail/drop any subject) and in the PI it'll take you about 5 years to become one. And here, I don't need to learn Rizal anymore. I don't have to take Theology anymore. I just have to take the really IMPORTANT subjects. No more P.E... No more community service. I don't have to waste my time studying things that are not really related to my course. But even if I study here I don't think I'll be completely happy because my mom's far from me. :( I don't wanna be away from my mom 'cause I always depend on her. I don't think I can live and study without her.. Now I don't know what to do..
If I decide to study here, I have to be back this August to prepare for the fall semester but if I didn't do well in my placement test, I have to be back in June to take summer classes. Aaarrrgghhh.. I really don't know what to do...
Anyways, I wasn't feeling good this afternoon because of cramps so my cousin gave me tylenol. She told me to take two but I was kind of hesitant to take two for the fear of being "high" but she's a nurse.. she should know that.. so I just followed her.. haha..
We had dinner at Dover Downs Hotel. It was a buffet. But I only ate a little like I always do.. I've already stopped from eating rice since April 2 but I've only lost 2 pounds since then.. tsss.. I guess I also have to stop eating chocolates and drinking sodas now to lose more weight.. haaayy.. I wanna be skinny..
